Elena is a young girl who lives in Ancient Mesopotamia. Her life is a boring blur, each day passing just like the last had. One early morning she wakes up and see's a sunrise, something she had never seen before and to her it seems the most magical and gorgeous thing. She becomes entranced by it and is always wondering how it is created. One day her grandmother tells her the story of the sunrise myth. The story she gets told is about a girl named Cecilia that gets married off to a old, cruel man that treats her like a slave. She is miserable there; underfed and lonely. One day when she is working in the fields she sees the sun goddess Arrina. Arrina tells her that if Cecilia sings too her every morning she well create the sunrise. Elena finds out that she is more connected to this myth then she had ever imagined. 

And will have to sing the sunrise up each morning or else it will go away forever.
